If you thought programming your VCR was a headache, you may expect to swallow more of the same medicine to get you through connecting your equipment.

Older model cameras such as VHS or Hi8 will require a number of cables and you’re bound to spend quite of bit of time “chasing the signal”. These cameras use an “analogue” signal.

The new digital cameras are good news. There’s only one cable called a “Firewire” cable that handles everything. If you can swing it say with this digital signal.
