Need a dog barking, a man snoring, or an angry mob? Just go to the sound effects tab and select a folder (human, cartoon, mechanical, etc.). Once the folder is open drag the sound effect to the sound effect area. You can shorten sound effects by dragging the right margin. Need a softer or louder volume? Select the effect and then place your cursor on the line running horizontal across the wave form. A little “speaker” will appear and you can move higher for more volume or 
lower for softer volumes.
