Titles offer you a chance to add text and or stills to your video. All you have to do is double-click on the title area in timeline view and up pops the title window. I recommend making your own titles and not using “canned” titles that are provided. You can get wild and creative, but with video professionals white, black, or yellow are the preferred colors. To add a still you can “insert” a picture or you can format the background to be a photo. As a final touch you can add credits and “black”  (blank) title slides to the video track at start and end of the project.
